10:00 am - Matt Brooks

Born and raised in a suburb of Dallas, The Colony, TX; Matt Brooks began singing and playing guitar at the age of 9 years old. After getting his first guitar, he learned to play everything from John Mayer to Metallica, Dave Matthews & Blake Shelton and quickly became obsessed with music. During his 4 years in college, Matt would busk in downtown Omaha, NE for extra money on his weekends off and got his first real taste of playing live music to crowds of people. This is where the desire to play music full-time began and a few years later would bring him to play music professionally.

11:45 am - Matthew Fiock

Matthew Fiock is from the great Northwest, but now resides in the big state of Texas. His music has been described as reggae, island, rock with a little european influence. Growing up he was surrounded by eclectic music listeners and was constantly and consistently around rock, alternative, island, hip hop, jazz, etc. The list goes on. He picked up an ukulele after 15 years of playing guitar and focused his abilities on to the uke.  With the island and rock culture combined vocally and played by an ukulele it is a sound that’s not been heard before.

1:30 pm - Janky

“Janky” or Scott Lindsey, digs deep into the roots of the blues while adding respectful touches that would hopefully appease the great blues legends like Son House, Blind Lemon Jefferson, John Lee Hooker, RL Burnside, Junior Kimbrough and Reverend KM Williams. These days the blues genre is far from its roots and most people have never heard the real blues. Janky doesn’t intend on sounding just like his inspirations, be it impossible anyway. Janky, interprets and jumps off from the roots of blues music. Janky is originally from Shreveport, La. but now resides in Austin, TX after a long stay in Dallas after college. Besides recording music in his studio, Janky, currently plays guitar and sings for The 1969s and Them Grackles. He also plays bass for the amazing Trainreck and is currently under the music tutelage of Reverend KM Williams.
