Visiting Artist Program

The Visiting Artist Program was designed to bring the artist from Cottonwood into the RISD classrooms to give presentations which not only helps with our art education goals, but brings the community a little closer to those artists who exhibit at our festival. Within the past year, more than 150 artists have participated in this program and overall more than 500 presentations have benefited over 9,000 students. Click here for the Artist Application form.

For those art teachers in RISD, the program invites Cottonwood artists to volunteer their time and talent to give presentations and demonstrations in your classroom. The artist visits will take place during the three-week period preceding the Cottonwood Art Festival. These visits are extremely popular, so please get your scheduling request in early!
